Elizabeth Baguley was born in Nottinghamshire and has worked here as a teacher at both primary and secondary levels for many years. She began writing when her children were small and her picture books have been published by OUP, Little Tiger Press and others. Elizabeth’s books for Little Tiger Press include Meggie Moon, which won the Swiss Labelle Prize 2008 and A Long Way From Home, which was shortlisted for the UKLA Children’s Book Award in the Picture Book category.
