A lethal assassin is at large – and his target is Spicer
Maverick Manchester detective, Jon Spicer, is investigating the brutal slayings of several Russian asylum-seekers. As he delves deeper into the case, MI5 warns him to back off, but Jon is determined to find the truth – especially once he suspects a link to the series of heart-wrenching notes being washed-up on the British coast.
No one knows who wrote them – or when – but each note forms part of a harrowing account of someone trying to survive at sea on a makeshift raft.
As Jon gets closer to cracking the mystery, he realises – too late – he’s now the target of a highly trained assassin who will do anything to keep a deadly secret hidden.
