COMING UP FOR AIR is the culmination of my lifelong fascination with why, as humans, we can be so loving, yet so hurtful to one another.
I started writing this book shortly after the somewhat sensational demise of my own relationship. 10 years later, I’d conducted extensive research into the psychology of us and had interviewed literally hundreds of people from all walks of life, civilian and military, in the United Kingdom and the United States.

The result is a collection of heart-warming, dramatic and terrifying true stories, including my own, about friendship, love, marriage, sex, obsession, narcissism and betrayal that you’ll have to read to believe.

So, come take a front row seat, but be warned, this is not a journey for the faint-hearted. It’s a rollercoaster ride through some of the most remarkable relationship stories you’ll ever read with the most captivating characters you’ll ever meet. You’ll experience the highs of love, the lows of heartbreak and the stomach churning terror of fighting for your life, whilst occasionally stopping to gather perspective, predict outcomes and even perform your own introspection on a life that may not be perfect, but is nonetheless yours for living.
