Brian Bold

Brian Bold spent many years as a marketing manager in the IT industry. Telling stories about new products was the name of the game. It seemed appropriate to hone this creative skill in retirement. He attended Fiction Writing courses at the City Lit and Travel Writing at the Mary Ward Centre – both in London. The result is an anthology of short stories, FIRST COARSE, and a book of memorable car journeys, ROAD WORKS. There is a shortened, and cheaper version, of the latter called TURNING CORNERS. More recently, as a member of the Watford Writers group, he teamed up with a fellow member, Jackie Green, and they collaborated on writing a dystopian novel, QUOTA. This has just been published under the pen name of Jack Bold.
