Daniel Allison is an oral storyteller, USA Today bestselling author and podcaster from Scotland. He is the author of Scottish Myths & Legends Vol. I & II, Irish Mythology: The Children of Danu, Finn & The Fianna and the mythic fantasy series The Orkney Cycle.
Daniel trains oral storytellers worldwide through his Myth Singers Online Celtic Storytelling Apprenticeship. He hosts the House of Legends Podcast and leads mythic immersion retreats in the Scottish Highlands. Over the last fifteen years Daniel has apprenticed to numerous elder storytellers from across the Celtic lands. He has shared his learnings all over the world, from Thai villages to Hebridean hilltops, Arabian markets, Indian theatres and global festivals.
Daniel divides his time between Scotland and Thailand. When he’s not writing, telling or teaching he eats, climbs hills and practices meditation and Muay Thai.
