About the Author


Jacquetta Megarry devised the rucksack-friendly format of Rucksack Readers guidebooks in 2000 to suit the needs of walkers and trekkers. She has since written or co-authored about 25 such guidebooks.

Roy Davies is a retired university librarian who first hiked the Inca Trail in 1989. He maintains a comprehensive website about the Trail.
