Ali is not a particularly bright cat and a bit scruffy but always ends up being a hero. She doesn’t understand the concept of time travel, it is something that just happens to her as she is whisked from ancient Egypt to the trenches of World War I, off to a space colony on Mars and to a Viking ship.
