Sophie and James have nothing in common. He goes to a posh private school. She goes to the comprehensive school next door. But then they discover that they are two of those rare people who have clearvision and who have the ability to see into a world of spirits and demons. Both of them receive messages through dreams and visions. When they receive a desperate appeal for help from someone who had died many years before, they join together to try to destroy a force of evil. They soon discover that demon hunting is a dangerous enterprise and that their attempts to help a trapped spirit may put both their lives in peril.
