When a mysterious object crashes in the New Mexico desert, the army begins a massive recovery operation. A radio broadcast is aired, attracting journalist Dorothy Kilgallen, who discovers a massive cover up to hide the truth from the American public.

President Harry Truman is informed of the situation and a highly classified group of men codenamed Majestic12 investigates what turns out to be the greatest discovery known to man.

The Majestic team recruit ruthless industrialist Jacob Barnes to fund a research operation into the flying saucer crash. However Barnes asks for more than Majestic are willing to give.

Unknown to Majestic, Russian spies are at large in the USA tracking down top secret information regarding the mysterious object that crashed in the New Mexico desert.
