Welcome to my Amazon author page! If you’ve made it here, you’ll probably know I’m the author of The Smallest Man, my debut novel, about a boy who beomes a ‘court dwarf’ in 17th century England. My latest book is That Bonesetter Woman, set around a century later, in Georgian London. It’s about a young woman, Endurance Proudfoot, who wants to be a bonesetter, her sister who becomes a famous actress, a baby left at the Foundling Hospital, an unwise marriage – and some lions!
You might be a bit surprised to see a series of law textbooks here too. It’s not a mistake, they’re mine as well – it’s always good to have more than one string to your bow! But for the avoidance of confusion, I’m not the same Frances Quinn who won Great British Bake Off, though I do make a very good Pineapple Upside Down Cake.
