J. S. Comiskey is a novelist from Banbridge, County Down. She graduated from Queen’s University in 2000 with a degree in English and politics before undertaking postgraduate studies in journalism at the University of Ulster.
During her career, Julie has worked as a journalist across the platforms of print and broadcast, including the BBC. In 2009, a long period of unemployment allowed her to return to her true passion of writing fiction. Solstice – The Goddess Awakens is her first book in the up-and-coming contemporary fantasy trilogy.
